James Wade Statement

James Wade has released an officialstatement after his recent exit from the World Grand Prix darts.
Wade won the tournament two years ago,and is the second most successful player in PDC history. He is considered thegreatest left hander to ever play the game.
Wade grew visibly distressed during hismatch with Colin Osborne. And after fans expressed concern for the darts star,he felt compelled to release the following comments, in full:
‘James Wade has issued a message ofthanks for the outpouring of support he has received in the last 48 hours.
The world number three, whose mentalhealth issues have been well documented in recent years, was visibly unsettledduring his World Grand Prix defeat against Colin Osborne on Tuesday evening.
Wade, who immediately flew back to theUK, was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, clinical depression and AttentionDeficit Hyperactivity Disorder when he was admitted to The Priory Clinic in2010.
He has continued to receive the necessarytreatment to combat his illnesses ever since.
“I want to take this opportunity to say amassive thank you to all of my fans and everyone who has supported me,especially since Tuesday,” said Wade, after online fan pages and social mediasites were flooded with messages of concern and support.
“I am home now and getting the right helpso I can focus on getting myself right for the remainder of the season.”’
