Bayern are expected to ease their way to another Bundesliga title this season. Die Roten have been the dominant force in German football for as long as most supporters can remember and they've won the top tier championship in each of the last five seasons. Not only will they expect to win all the domestic silverware available, they'll also be expected to compete in the Champions League this term too.

After a shock defeat to Hoffenheim in their third Bundesliga game of the campaign, Carlo Ancelotti's men have unsurprisingly recovered to win their next two league matches along with their first Champions League fixture to go back to within one place of the top spot. And with the home advantage here, you have to expect them to take all three points from this game too.

Wolfsburg had to win the relegation play-off last season in order to remain a top-tier club, overcoming Eintracht Braunschweig over two legs to retain their Bundesliga status. This poor performance came as a surprise to many on the continent given the quality of their squad and given that they've been among the top clubs in the country in recent years, regularly qualifying for European competitions.

It's been a slightly stronger start to the new term for Die Wolfen as they have picked up five points from their first five matches, three of which came from a vital away win at Eintracht Frankfurt. Martin Schmidt's men make the trip to the Allianz Arena on the back of a three game winless run however, that has included a defeat to Stuttgart.

The last four meetings between these two teams have ended in clean sheets and victories for the Munich-based outfit. Die Roten also come into this game having kept three clean sheets in their last three matches, whilst die Wolfen have struggled going forward so far this term, scoring just three times in their first five league games of the season.

Robert Lewandowski has started the season in typically dangerous form for Bayern. The Polish striker is generally regarded as one of the best centre forwards in the world and he's certainly been showing his abilities in the early stages of the new campaign, firing in six goals in just five league appearances plus a further four in three other competitions and he's fancied to find the back of the next again at the Allianz in a comfortable Bayern win.
