Los Blancos have been very confident recently and although they’ve suffered a 2-1 loss at Atletico Madrid last week, it has seen them through to the Champions League final (4-2 on aggregate). Their confidence hasn’t been dented and they have now returned to the winning ways with another convincing display so look good to be able to build on it.

Celta Vigo have, by contrast, been in a horrendous spell of form since late April and we’ve seen them earn just one draw (1-1 at Manchester United) in their last seven outings across competitions, with six losses also on the record. They’ve suffered a 3-1 loss at Alaves on Sunday and dropped to 13th spot on Primera table.

They’ve bagged two goals in their last two games, though, showing a better intent in the final third which suggests they’ll be able to make an impact here too. Los Blancos have indeed been conceding goals despite their great streak, as we’ve seen 14 past Keylor Navas in their last ten games, but usually outgunned their rivals in the process.

Real have conceded at least a goal in all of their last six head-to-head encounters against Celta Vigo, earning four wins and one draw, with just one loss also on the record. Celticos have earned an all-important Copa del Rey win (4-3 on aggregate) earlier this year, though, and this does seem a perfect chance for the visitors to take revenge.
