Real Madrid travel to Malaga on the final day of their Primera campaign in red-hot form and looking for any points at La Rosaleda to secure the title. They’ve put on two convincing displays in their last two outings and earned wins against Sevilla (4-1) and Celta Vigo (1-4). Los Blancos are expected to continue in that vein of form here although Malaga will by no means be an easy challenge to overcome.

They’re now three points above 2nd placed Barcelona and one point would be enough, but Zinedine Zidane will surely want to put this one out of reach early on.

Malaga have been a very tough home side to beat and they’ve earned four wins in a row in front of their home fans, beating Barcelona (2-0) and Sevilla (4-2) in the process. However, Real Madrid come in much better shape at this point and they’ll surely be the strongest challenge yet for the home side.

Nonetheless, both sides scoring many goals recently does promise an exciting matchup. Despite their fine form, Real have struggled to keep clean sheets throughout the season and come into the match with at least one conceded in all of their last three outings.

Los Blancos have beaten Malaga and secured the points earlier this season with a 2-1 home win in January 2017, finally returning to the winning ways after two draws against their rivals (0-0 in 2015 and 1-1 in 2016). However, with their current form and high stakes involved, they should be able to build on the tally (24 wins, eight draws, and just one loss overall) here.
