PSG travel to Montpellier for their Matchday 7 clash at the weekend in super shape after securing eight wins in eight games in all competitions this term. They notably hammered Celtic (0-5) in Glasgow in the UEFA Champions League and comfortably dispatched Lyon (2-0) last week when returning to home soil, suggesting Unai Emery's men are going to take some stopping this season.
The Parisians have bagged 15 goals in their last four outings thanks to the deadly combination of trio Neymar-Cavani-Mbappe up front and although their have been rumours of disputes in the dressing room, it's hasn't affected their winning mentality.
Paris are six for six in Ligue 1 this term and boast already boast a goal difference of plus 18, nine more than their nearest rivals Monaco, whom they also lead by three points in the standings.
Their European win in Scotland means they are unbeaten in competitive matches so far in the campaign and looking good to dethrone defending champions Monaco.
Montpellier, meanwhile, finally returned to the winning ways after a four-match winless streak, with a 1-0 victory over Troyes 1-0 last time out. It was a welcome three points ahead of an ominous lookin schedule that includes clashes with PSG, Monaco, and Nice in the next three weeks.
They've been defensively sound thus far in the campaign - only conceding more than one goal on one occasion - but the visitors will surely put that record to sword at La Paillade given their attacking prowess.
PSG have netted three or more goals in five of their last six outings, and we are likely to see more of the same here.
Interestingly, Montpellier outclassed their rivals 3-0 in their last head-to-head clash at this ground back in December 2016.
