Napoli vs. Fiorentina Live Stream: Partenopei tipped to earn the all-important home points

Napoli look to extend their great streak and challenge for a spot in the top two late in the campaign when they take on Fiorentina on Saturday night.

Fiorentina travel to Napoli for their Matchday 37 clash hoping to build on their thriller 3-2 win over Lazio and break into the league’s top 6 with Europa League spots at their fingertips. However, with Napoli coming into the match in a red-hot form and with similar ambitions, where they’re just a point behind 2nd placed Roma, we don’t see the visitors taking away anything from the fixture.

Partenopei come into the match with a convincing 0-5 win at Torino last week and a ten-match unbeaten streak behind them, where they’ve bagged eight wins and two draws. They’ve been in a superior spell of form and showed it outclassing Inter, Cagliari, and Torino in their most recent outings. While Fiorentina could as well be the toughest challenge yet, we do feel they have what it takes to bag the points here too.

Furthermore, the visitors’ form on the road has been nowhere near as promising and they’ve earned just one win in their last six away games. Their shaky performances have earned them just 2-2 draws at both Sampdoria and Sassuolo in their last three matches, with a troubled 2-0 loss at Palermo suffered in the process.

Viola have been scoring and conceding a lot of goals, though, with an attacking approach to their fixtures which promises another thrilling contest on the day.

Fiorentina have held Napoli to two home draws in 2016, earning the points in front of the home fans with a 1-1 draw in February and 3-3 in December. However, they haven’t snatched any points at this ground since 2014 and the January 2017 win (0-1 in Coppa Italia) has meant three in a row for the home side here.
