Manly Sea Eagles v Wests Tigers NRL live stream: Manly to continue dominance over Tigers at Lottoland

Manly Sea Eagles will be looking to bounce back from last week’s disappointment when they take on the struggling Wests Tigers on Sunday at Lottoland in NRL Round 19 action.

The Sea Eagles saw their five-game winning streak snapped at Pepper Stadium last week against the Panthers, falling 16-12 to the men in black - however coach Trent Barrett is unlikely to be too worried about the loss when you consider the 14-4 lopsided penalty count and the resulting lack of possession.

It’s looking like that result could be an outlier in Manly’s thoroughly impressive season, with the Sea Eagles flying high in the top four and well-positioned to secure a home final in September.

Given most pundits though the Sea Eagles were in the middle of a rebuilding phase and would miss out on the finals by a big margin, it’s been an excellent season for the Northern Beaches club so far.

Manly do need to bounce back immediately to regather their momentum however, and Daly Cherry-Evans will be hoping for a big game after he was controversial overlooked for Origin selection on Wednesday night.

Meanwhile, the season is already over for the Tigers, but after picking up a maximum four points over the last fortnight, the joint-venture outfit will be aiming to finish the season brightly, starting with this week’s trip to Lottoland.

The Tigers managed to haul themselves off the bottom of the ladder with their 33-12 victory over fellow battlers the Knights two weeks ago, while last week’s bye gives them a four-point buffer on the current wooden-spooners.

However the Tigers will have to defy current form and overturn a dire record at Brookvale if they are to pull off the upset on Sunday. Manly will be determined to rebound from last week, and in front of their home fans, you can’t see them losing this one.Back to Top
