The opening PSA World Series tournament of the new campaign will see 112 of the world’s best players compete for glory and a share of the $330,000 prize purse between October 7-14.

France's World No.1 Gregory Gaultier, who won the tournament in 2006, 2013 and 2015, is the top seed in the men’s draw, while reigning World Champion and World No.1 Nour El Sherbini, headlines the women's event.

Gaultier will be joined by the likes of World Champion Karim Abdel Gawad, defending US Open champion Mohamed El Shorbagy, 2007 winner Nick Matthew and 2012 champion Ramy Ashour.

There's no shortage of the world's best in the women's draw either, reigning champion Camille Serme, World No.2 Raneem El Welily, two-time victor Laura Massaro, and three-time winner Nicol David all in contention for success in the States.

With World Series ranking points up for grabs, the tournament begins the long road to the season-ending PSA World Series Finals, where the top eight players on the men’s and women’s standings earn a much sought after ticket to the prestigious and lucrative tournament.

Qualification for the 2017 U.S. Open will be held on October 5 and 6.
