About SkiStar Swedish OpenThe SkiStar Swedish Open in Bastad is one of the most popular ATP World Tour 250 tournaments, as evidenced by the fact that it was voted tournament of the year 11 years in a row between 2002 and 2013.
The Swedish Open has been held every year since 1948 and its organisers have consistently tried to improve the venue at Bastad and the tournament in general, hence the high regard with which it is held.

In 2011, Robin Soderling became the first multiple Swedish titlist since Magnus Norman in 2000.
Spain's María José Martínez Sánchez won the inaugural women's event in 2009, while Serena Williams also got her hands on the trophy in 2013.
